Lizzy is a domestic shorthair that came into our care in August 2025. She was surrendered with two other adult cats after unfortunately losing their home to new landlord policies. She is a shy little lady. She asks that you give her a chance; she is a very sweet girl. She also asks that you enter her space quietly and calmly. Lizzy loves gentle head scratches and soft whispers. She would do best in a home with no children, calm children, or older children. She would also do well with older kitty siblings.
If you are interested in meeting Lizzy, please submit an application at valleyanimal.org. Her adoption fee is donation based which covers her spay, up-to-date vaccines, deworm/flea preventatives and microchip.
We are open for walk ins Saturday and Sunday 10-4! We are appointment based WED-FRI 12-4!
Thank mew!

More about this shelter
Valley Animal Center houses thousands of dogs and cats annually until they are placed in loving homes. Majority of our shelter animals are rescued from local animal control agencies who have no more space for their animals. Even animals who have been abused, mistreated, abandoned, and injured are cared for and nurtured until a loving home is ready to adopt them.
We are easily accessible to the residents of the entire six-county region it serves. Even individuals from out of the area and out of state have come to Valley Animal Center to adopt animals from us and utilize our clinic services.
Our mission is to unite dogs and cat with loving people but it does not simply end at the adoption process. With our low-cost clinic, a membership-based dog park, and humane education resources found on our website, we want to ensure our community has easy access to resources that will help them along in their pet ownership journey.
