If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Orion is a wolfdog with a big personality and lots of quirks to love. During the day, he’s calm and content—happy to nap, chew on a buffalo cheek roll, or watch the world go by through the window.
Evenings are when he comes to life. Between 6–9 PM, Orion gets bursts of energy, zipping around the yard or playing tug-of-war. He’s very food-motivated (frozen green peppers and Cheez Whiz are his favorites), and he loves to “talk.” His best trick? Saying “oh wow.”
He is house-trained, uses a Halo collar for yard time, and enjoys walks, though he does pull on the leash. Orion doesn’t enjoy car rides or crates, so he’s happiest in a home where someone is around often. Orion gets along well with other dogs and enjoys rough-and-tumble play. Why we’re rehoming him: Orion has shown aggression around our infants, and for their safety, we can no longer keep him in our home. This was a very difficult decision, as we care deeply for him and want him to find the right environment where he can thrive.
