My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bandit, a spirited 5-year-old Siberian Husky bursting with energy and personality! This charming boy is a bundle of love, showering everyone he meets with boundless affection. Bandit’s enthusiasm is infectious, but he comes with a “too much” gene—his excitement can be a lot to handle, as he struggles to calm down once he’s riled up.He’s looking for a special home that can match his high energy and provide the structure he needs to thrive.

Nickname “The littlest husky” or Frito Bandito!

Bandit is best suited for a single-pet household, as he takes time to adjust to other animals and can react strongly to dogs during walks or outings, which may be misinterpreted by other pets or owners. His ideal adopter is an experienced Husky owner or someone familiar with the breed’s unique traits—Bandit is strong-willed and stubborn but also a quick learner who sometimes chooses to ignore what he’s learned!

With consistent training and patience, he has the potential to shine. This athletic boy is an expert jumper, easily clearing 6-foot fences, so he comes with a Halo collar to help prevent escapes and track him if he does. Bandit needs an active home with a secure environment, ideally with someone who can continue his training and channel his energy into positive outlets like long walks, runs, or engaging activities. If you’re a Husky-savvy adopter ready to embrace Bandit’s big personality, provide firm guidance, and give him the love and attention he craves, he’ll reward you with endless loyalty and affection. Ready to meet your new adventure buddy?

While waiting for his forever home Bandit is located in Summerville, SC  Bandit is neutered, Up to date on shots & microchipped.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We require every adopter fill out an adoption application. After the application is reviewed, reference & vet checked, home visit completed and you have been approved, we then will accept a deposit on the dog of your choice and we do require the balance of the donation be paid prior to transport or 48 hours prior to delivery. All our animals are up to date on age appropriate vaccines, spay or neutered, microchipped and the microchip already registered to the adopter at time of delivery. Our belief in Heartworm Prevention is so essential to our dogs leading long, healthy and happy lives that we provide a years worth with each dog that is adopted and urge our adopters to get more for future years from us for a small $15 donation to the rescue to help cover costs of the preventative.

Adoption Donations:
$295 Adult Dogs
$395 Puppies
$200 Special Need Dogs

Go meet their pets

All of our animals are in foster homes. Once the application process has been completed, a meet and greet can be scheduled. Depending on the dogs first meet, we may schedule a second greet. We provide all adopters our version of “The two week Shutdown” which we stress and urge our adopters to follow.

More about this rescue

Mission Statement:
The purpose for which this corporation was formed is to provide animals that would otherwise be euthanized a chance at a full and happy life. We rescue animals from high kill shelters in the South, strays and owner surrenders when fosters are available. It is our intent that these animals be rehabilitated both physically and mentally, shown love and compassion, and then be found their forever homes. We are also dedicated to educating the public on the need for proper care for all animals, including but not limited to spay/neuter, vaccines & heartworm prevention. We believe in giving a helping hand and have had only positive Community Outreach outcomes.
