Life hasn’t always been kind to him—he was picked on in his previous home, which has left him a bit nervous. That’s why he wears what we like to call his “grumpy face.” Don’t be fooled, though—behind that look is a gentle cat who just needs time and kindness to feel safe.
Groot would thrive in a quiet home without young children. He may do best as the only cat, but he could possibly coexist with a calm, mellow female cat who gives him space. Once he learns he can trust you, he softens and shows his true, sweet nature.
