Alle was adopted by me in Charlottesville 3/24 with a listed birth date 2/13/23. After adoption I found that she had been transferred from the SPCA in Covington, VA. I contacted them and learned that she was found in a home with a kitten by a Realtor in Nov 23. The kitten was at some point adopted. The paperwork indicates that she had been adopted and returned one time.
I have 45 years of cat experience but she is the first adult that I adopted. She was hand shy and quick to grab with her teeth. It was 10 months before she got into my lap and went to sleep. She has turned into a wonderful little girl. She has learned to live with a cat experienced dog but it would be best, imo, for her to be an only pet w/o young children. She is very easy to handle. I pick her twice a day,she gets on my lap frequently, gives boops and a chirper
She is an indoor/outdoor cat, still plays with her toys, uses the litter box when necessary, and her scratch post and pads w/o using the furniture.
