Jingi is a handsome, all-grey gentleman around 7 years old who’s still settling into rescue life. He enjoys pets… until hes done and then he likes to have a little space. Think of him as a cat with strong personal boundaries and a very expressive way of saying “no, thank you.” He is a really calm guy who LOVES treats, is highly food-motivated, and has the potential to come around in a calm, experienced home where he’s not pressured to be cuddly 24/7. Jingi would do best with someone who understands cat body language, respects his space, and is happy to bond over snacks and quiet companionship.
He’s not your usual lap cat—but he might just become your deeply loyal little friend with time, patience, and a treat bag in hand... And maybe he becomes a lap cat but this sweet old man just needs a little time and patience. 💙

We ask an adoption fee of $175 Which includes a general health exam, spay /neuter surgery, and microchip ID implant, Felv/FIV testing, age-appropriate vaccinations including rabies.

Meowsquad is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization started in 2019. Our goal is to reduce the large stray and feral cat population of New York City by using Trap Neuter Return (TNR) techniques as well as working with the community to find forever homes for cats and kittens that can be resocialized. We also aim to relocate those who cannot be returned into safe, working environments.
