My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Muffin: The Shy Sweetheart Looking for a Quiet Haven!

Muffin is a delicate 4-year-old kitty who found her way back to us as a stray after being adopted as a kitten from the HSBC in 2021. At just over 6 pounds, this shy and reserved girl is searching for a loving home where she can slowly come out of her shell. Muffin is naturally shy and prefers to hide as she adjusts to new environments. Her reserved nature means she thrives best in a calm and quiet household. Once she builds trust, Muffin reveals her sweet side by rolling over for belly rubs and enjoying neck scratches. However, she communicates clearly when she’s had enough, with a soft growl or an expressive meow. Currently residing in a community room with other cats, Muffin does well with her feline companions. She is more tolerant than affectionate with them, valuing her own space. She is not very trusting at first, but with patience and understanding, she can warm up and become a loving companion. A quiet, patient home where Muffin can feel safe and secure is ideal. Her new family should be understanding of her need for space and willing to give her the time she needs to build trust. A home without young children, where she can retreat to a calm sanctuary, would suit her best. If you’re ready to provide a gentle and loving environment for Muffin, she could be the perfect addition to your family. Come meet her and offer her the peaceful forever home she’s been seeking.
