Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Nella: Former House Panther, Current Couch Enthusiast
Name: Nella Age: 5 years old Status: Recently single and seeking a quiet, loving forever home Special Talents: Toy mouse collector, string chaser, expert at couch lounging
Hello, lovely humans. My name is Nella, and yes, I do know I’m beautiful. I’ve got that classic `mysterious housecat energy` paired with a soft side for people I trust.
I was lucky to have had a home since the day I was born, but when my beloved human became too ill to care for me, my mom and I found ourselves at the shelter, hoping for a second chance at the quiet, cozy life we once knew.
My previous family shared a few things about me that might help you get to know the real Nella: • I`m a nervous girl: I prefer to take my time. Let me come to you, and I’ll show you what a sweet and loving companion I can be. • I love pets: but on my terms. A respectful hand is a beautiful thing. • Toys? Yes, please. Strings and toy mice are my absolute favorites, and I’ll even announce myself when I’m bringing you a toy, meowing proudly with it in my mouth like a tiny, furry delivery driver.
I lived peacefully with other cats and even a dog in my previous home, so I may be open to making furry friends again. I’ve also spent time around children and did well, though I’d prefer a home with older, cat-savvy kids, since I can get a little nippy when I’m overstimulated during play.
And speaking of relaxation, if your idea of a great day involves a quiet afternoon and a cat curled up beside you on the couch or bed, then we’re already halfway to being best friends. Nella is looking for a calm, understanding home where she can take her time to settle in, play when the mood strikes, and enjoy the simple joys of a soft blanket, a sunny window, and a human who gets her.
She’s not looking to be the life of the party, she just wants a place to feel safe, loved, and totally herself again.
Could Nella be your next little furry housemate?
