She came to us with her best friend, Sadie Mae, after their family had to move and could no longer care for them. Gracie Lou is calm, affectionate, and enjoys the quiet comforts of home—soft blankets, peaceful naps, and the reassuring presence of a familiar friend. While her world has recently changed, her sweet nature remains as steady as ever. Gracie Lou is looking for a warm, loving home where she can spend her golden years feeling safe, cherished, and surrounded by love.

This email will include instructions on how to proceed with our reservation process. - Please note: The location listed in an animal`s profile does not indicate where the animal is available for adoption. Almost all of our adoptions are carried out at our Morton Grove facility.
OPTION TWO: COME INTO THE ADOPTION CENTER AND MEET THEM ALL! The adoption center is located at 5915 W Lincoln Ave in Morton Grove, IL 60053. It is open Thursday & Friday, 4 pm-8 pm and Saturday & Sunday, 11 am-5 pm.

Potential homes should be willing to fill out an online application, or one in person at our event. We interview new adopters and place pets based on their needs and the suitability of the adoptive home. We do take "reservations" on our animals prior to our events with an approved application/ reference check.

We concentrate our efforts on animals whose temperament best suite the needs of the average "family" adopter. All animals come up to date on medical care, and with 30 days of free pet insurance.
