Croissant is a sweet, spunky 13-year-old yorkie waiting her forever homes. According to her foster, she is Independent and likes to roam around the house when not asleep. She is a cutie with a spunky personality! She loves to walk the yard as well. She gets along well with kids, big and little dogs. With cats, she has not been tested. She can be a cuddle bug or do her own thing, when awake she will follow her person. She loves car rides and sits quietly in transit, sleeps a lot. She does well on a leash. [i]She doesn't like to be confined - although she will sleep/remain in her crate as long as you keep the gate open. Otherwise, she will bark. She loves food, walks well, and roaming inside or outside. She can go up and down the stairs with minimal difficulty (she does have a bit of stiffness in her tiny legs). As for her bathroom habits, she is mostly potty trained. one really needs to be acute to her cues when she is ready to go. if she is in a confined space (like a laundry room) she will use a doggie pad or will wait for you to let her out. She will come to you and walk away and you really don't know what she wants but she is really asking to go potty. If you don't pay attention to her needs, she will have an accident inside the house. We rescued her from the West valley shelter in march 2025. She had a huge growth on the side of her face which was removed. She has completely recovered and is ready for her forever home.

Meet the Pet
We have the potential adopter come meet the dog and bring their dog for a meet and greet. For cats, they just meet the cat by itself.

Pay Fee
we keep our fees low to encourage adoptions of senior dogs. Our kitten fees are based on cost to S/N, vaccinate and chip them.
Take the Pet Home
with dogs, we often bring the dog to their home.
