Don’t let my tiny size (or my resting hiss face ?) fool you—I’m actually a sweet, playful little gray-and-white cutie. I have a funny habit of greeting people with a quiet hiss, but the second you start petting me, I switch right into purr mode. Honestly, it’s just my quirky way of saying hello!
I love romping around with other kittens, and while I might hiss at new friends in the beginning, it doesn’t take long before I’m bouncing around and playing with them. I’m still a little nervous about being picked up and handled, but give me some ear scratches or belly rubs, and I’ll be your best buddy.
Because I can be timid, I’d do best in a patient home without small kids or a lot of noise. What I really need is a gentle person and a feline companion to help me feel confident and secure.
I may be compact, but I promise I’ve got plenty of love, personality, and purrs to share. If you’re looking for a quirky little sweetheart with a big heart, I just might be your girl.
Dizzle is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting her, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.
Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
