This sweet polydactyl boy is ready to stretch out into your heart—literally! He loves to nap in full-length splendor, soaking up sunshine from his favorite window seat or lounging in his beloved playhouse.
Once a shy soul, he's blossomed into a gentle, affectionate companion whose irresistible puppy dog eyes will have you scooping him up for kisses every time you walk by.
He’s got giant feet and extra toes, perfect for making extra-large biscuits just for you. Sardine treats and churrus are his love language, and he adores his aunties and keeps a watchful eye on his siblings like the loyal little brother he is.
What he needs most? A playful friend to bring out his best qualities and share in his joyful energy. Possibly one of his brothers or sisters? If you’re looking for a snuggly, soulful boy with a heart as big as his paws, Parsnip might just be your perfect match.
Parsnip is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting him, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.
Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
