I arrived at the rescue with my siblings, Uno and Dos, after spending my early days outside. Born around April 2023, I’ve since discovered that I absolutely love the company of other cats and, of course, tasty treats. My foster mom calls me a true “cat’s cat” because every feline I meet seems to adore me. I’d love to be adopted with one of my siblings or foster friends, or join a home with another kitty companion who can help me feel safe and happy.
I’m a striking tuxedo boy with unique markings, quiet dignity, and a gentle soul. At first, I may seem a bit shy when you reach out—but give me a moment, and I’ll remember how much I enjoy pets and affection. I especially love sharing treats straight from your hand, and those moments are the key to my heart.
Because I can be easily startled, I’d thrive in a calm, peaceful home without too much noise or chaos. Despite my sensitive side, I have so much love to give and am just waiting for the right person (or family) to give it to.
If you’re looking for a handsome, sweet, and soulful companion—and you already have or plan to adopt a feline friend—I might just be the perfect match.
Tres is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting him, please send us a message here or email adopt@ahsem.org
.
Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM, the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age-appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo testing (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
