My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fearless Explorer, Master Mouse-Hunter

Zumi Zooma is a brave little soul with a heart twice the size of her tiny, resilient body. After overcoming early health challenges, she has emerged with an unstoppable zest for life and a high energy level. She was recently returned for being "too playful," but in the right home, that just means double the fun and triple the love!

Zumi is a professional "inspector." The moment she arrives in a new space, she doesn’t hide—she explores. She wants to know what’s in every corner and exactly how every toy works. Because of her high energy and social nature, she would thrive in an active home with another playful cat to keep her company.

Why Zumi is the Perfect Addition:

The Toy Mouse Hunter: While she loves her gadgets, Zumi is a classic hunter at heart. She absolutely loves stalking, "hunting," and attacking her toy mice. Watching her focus and pounce is better than any TV show!

The Ball Tower Champion: Zumi is obsessed with her ball tower. She can entertain herself (and you!) for hours with her athletic leaps and focused play.

Affectionate "Headbutts": She isn’t just about the zoomies; she is a world-class snuggler. She’ll greet you with enthusiastic headbutts to make sure you know exactly how much she’s enjoying your company.

A Vocal Travel Companion: Zumi is a total pro in the car, though she might have a few "stories" to tell you along the way. She’s a talkative, engaged girl who loves being part of the action.

Visible Excitement: You can actually tell when Zumi is having the time of her life because her breathing gets a little faster when she’s truly excited. It’s a unique and adorable way she shows her joy.

Zumi is highly social and thrives when she has a playmate to wrestle and snuggle with. She is looking for a family ready for plenty of playtime and even more purrs. She is currently finishing up some treatments for congestion but is an "A+ student" when it comes to taking her medicine.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
