My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Willie!

Willie is a gentle soul who absolutely loves spending time outdoors. Whether it’s going for a walk or relaxing in the yard, fresh air and sunshine are his favorite things.

Willie is partially blind, but he doesn’t let that stop him from enjoying life and showing off his sweet personality.

With his easygoing nature and love for the simple joys, Willie is ready to find a family who will cherish him as much as he’ll cherish them.

His adoption fee is $400 plus an additional $50 that includes six months of heartworm prevention. The adoption fee includes his care, de-worming, microchip, spay, vaccines, fecal test, and preventatives up to the point of adoption.

More about this shelter

Judy’s Forgotten Jewells is a licensed Non-Profit No Kill Animal Rescue Group. It was founded by Patricia L. Smith DVM in honor of her mother’s childhood dog “Judy Dog” and Jewell Animal Hospital. Dr. Smith believes that ALL animals deserve quality pet care and a loving home. Our rescue is supported by volunteers, the hospital staff, and pet passionate people in our community who donate money and supplies. Our goal is to help the pets who are at risk of being euthanized, pregnant and or homeless.
