Stormy is a beautiful dark gray/brown tabby, about 8–9 months old, who came to her foster home last September along with her brother, Jasper. The two were around 3 months old at the time and have been together ever since. Stormy has since been spayed and received her vaccinations through Furball Farm.
Stormy is still quite shy and skittish, but she has her own sweet and playful personality once she starts to feel comfortable. When someone first enters the room, she may dart around looking for a safe spot, but once things settle down she becomes curious—especially if Churu or catnip appear. She isn’t very interested in hard treats, but she absolutely loves Churu and will happily eat it right from the tube. Catnip is another favorite and really helps her relax and show more of her playful side.
Stormy also enjoys playtime, especially chasing wand toys, which brings out her energetic and fun personality. While she’s still learning to trust people, she has allowed gentle pets when she was cozied up under a blanket sleeping and didn’t seem bothered at all.
Stormy is very bonded with her brother Jasper and often looks to him for comfort, sometimes even hiding behind him when she feels nervous. Because of this close bond, they would do best going to a home together where they can continue building confidence side by side.
Stormy will need a patient, understanding home willing to give her time to blossom. With kindness, playtime, and plenty of Churu and catnip, this shy girl has the potential to grow into a wonderful companion. 🐾

More about this rescue
Camp Companion is a 501c3 organization established in 2003.
Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.
Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.
Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
