This adorable little girl is just over a year old and weighs about 12.5 pounds. She’s fully vetted, heartworm negative, microchipped, and making great progress with her potty training. Her adoption fee is only $25!
She came from a hoarding situation where dogs were kept in crates in a small apartment, so crates aren’t her favorite place to be. But, it sometimes can be her safety place. Understandably, she’s still a bit nervous and learning to trust. Sometimes she’s too scared to be caught, but with patience, gentleness, and time, she’ll come around and show her true loving nature.
Because of her background, she’s not a good fit for apartment living—she’ll need a secure backyard where she can safely explore and feel comfortable. She does best with dogs her size or larger, and would thrive in a calm, understanding home that’s willing to let her open up at her own pace.
She’s not an “instant dog”—she’ll need time to trust and adjust—but once she feels safe, she’ll reward you with a lifetime of love and loyalty.
Could you be the one to give this sweet girl the safe, loving home she deserves?

Additional adoption info
We are a RESCUE ORGANIZATION; please complete your online Adoption Application, which can be found on our website. We require an adoption application, vet reference, and a home visit with the pet. ALL of our pets are spayed, neutered or scheduled prior to being adopted. They are UTD on shots, heartworm negative, treated or scheduled to be treated, and micro chipped. They must be kept on heartworm preventative for the rest of their lives. Our adoption fees vary. Puppies have an increased adoption fee since they need three or four sets of shots, multiple de-wormings, and other puppy needs to keep them healthy.

CPR is an animal rescue organization run solely by volunteers. Our primary goal is to save dogs from euthanization at shelters as a result of factors such as a lack of funding and space. These wonderful animals are put at risk because they have no one to claim and adopt them. We aim to give them the second chance that they so deserve. Our animals come to us from shelters around DFW and stay in foster homes where they are given the medical attention (vaccinations, surgeries, heart worm testing, etc) and care that they deserve.
