Her favorite hobby is sitting by the window and watching the world go by — birds, leaves, sunshine, you name it.
Liv’s story began on the center median of Walerga Road, where she and her siblings were found after being abandoned. Her brothers and sisters have already found their forever homes, and now it’s Liv’s turn to find a family who sees how special she is.

Feel free to email us in regards to any pet you may be interested in! We encourage in-person meetings at the cat or kitten's foster home so you can see how they act in an environment they're comfortable in. We're very responsive and flexible with meeting times. Thank you for your interest!

Founded in 2020, Friends of Felines Rescue initially began in Rio Linda and now proudly serves both Rio Linda and its surrounding areas. Our mission is simple: to tackle cat overpopulation while supporting local communities. We're all about nurturing and protecting our furry friends by providing loving foster homes for orphaned, sick, and injured cats until they're healthy and ready for their forever homes. We're big advocates for spaying and neutering, not just for our beloved pets but also for our community cat colonies. As a volunteer-driven nonprofit, we're dedicated to the art of Trap-Neuter-Return, lending a helping paw by providing free training on trapping, traps for those in need, and information on low-cost surgeries.
