My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jane Eyre!
Much like her namesake, Jane Eyre is a heroine in her own right—brave, clever, and full of spirit. At about 5 months old, this orange tabby and white beauty has a thick, luxurious coat and charming little ear tufts that make her look like she stepped right out of the pages of a storybook.

Jane has a curious heart and a love for adventure—especially when it comes to water. Whether she’s peeking at the pet fountain or investigating the shower, she’s always ready to explore the mysteries of her world. Playful with other cats and always the first to spark a game, Jane also has a tender, affectionate side and adores snuggling once her adventures are done.

If you’re looking for a kitten with both character and charm, Jane Eyre is ready to write her next chapter with you.

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
