In the short time Allison’s lived with her foster, she’s become so comfortable that she will sit less than two feet away. She also stretches, yawns, and slow blinks to show how relaxed she is getting around people! She communicates with her foster with sweet meowls. She loves her daily visits and sometimes cries for more playtime and attention.
This polite girl is wonderfully well-mannered; she doesn’t jump on counters, never scratches where she shouldn’t, and always uses her litter box like a pro. While she isn’t fond of human touch just yet, she’s a calm presence in the home and simply needs patience, understanding, and time to adjust at her own pace. She will lick treats from her foster’s fingers and sniffs her hands and feet when near her.
Look at this video of sweet Allison.
It’s unknown if Allison gets along with cats at this time. Her foster is starting to introduce some friendly, social kitties to her and will update her progress here.
Allison makes the sweetest little fur companion. She is looking for her forever home and would love to meet you.
Allison is from a stray surrender. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page.
If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.
