Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Turbo!
Turbo is a 1-year-old cat with a gentle soul and a quiet presence. While her name might suggest she`s always on the move, Turbo is actually a shy and sensitive girl who takes her time getting comfortable in new environments.
She may not be the first to seek out attention, but with patience, kindness, and a calm home, Turbo will slowly begin to show her sweet, thoughtful side. Once she trusts you, her quiet companionship is truly rewarding.
Turbo would do best in a peaceful setting with someone who understands that the best relationships take time to grow. She is currently living with multiple cats at our shelter and seems to prefer the presence of feline friends, so we ask that her forever home already has a cat living in it.
However, we still recommend a slow introduction between Turbo and any potential cat companions in her forever home. A slow intro will help ensure that both Turbo and her new feline family members feel safe and comfortable as they adjust to each other`s presence.
If you`re looking for a gentle friend to bond with at her own pace, Turbo might be the perfect match.
Come meet Turbo at the Humane Society of Summit County, located at 752 West Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. For more information, call us at 330-487-0333 ext. 803.

All of our adoptable animals are up-to-date on all age appropriate vaccinations, spayed or neutered, de-wormed, de-flea and microchipped before adoptions are finalized. All dogs over six months of age receive a temperament assessment by our Certified Professional Dog Trainer to ensure appropriate placement. Also, many animals in our care receive basic obedience training to improve manners and increase adoptability.
We are currently doing adoptions by appointment only. Please contact us by phone at (234) 212-9843 or email at adoptions@summithumane.org, and an adoption counselor will return your message. They will review our adoption process, answer any questions, and tell you more about the animals currently available for adoption at our shelter and in our foster program. If we have a match for you and your family, an appointment will be scheduled to meet the animal.
Additional questions can be directed to our adoption team at (234) 212-9843.

More about this shelter
Since 1968, the Humane Society of Summit County (HSSC) has been the trusted caretaker and advocate for Summit County’s victims of animal abuse, neglect, and abandonment and stray animals suffering from illness and injury. We employ two full-time Humane Officers who respond to emergency calls, investigate animal cruelty, and, as warranted, prosecute offenders. We protect and care for our community’s abused, discarded, and forgotten animals. We strive every day to rehabilitate our rescued animals, find them great homes, and provide them with bright futures.
