Leno came to us out of a house where they had no socialization. His pervious owner was killed and he had to witness that. We have been working with Leno for almost a year and a half and has made such wonderful improvements. He got to go home with someone as a foster and that really changed him. He is house trained, knows a lot of commands and is a very smart dog. He can ring a doorbell to let you know he has to go outside, and he also knows how to open all the latches on gates. He enjoys letting other dogs out at the shelter to come play. With new people, Leno is cautious, as he hasn't always been able to trust people. Once he knows you, he will be your absolute best friend. He loves swimming, playing with toys (he hoards his toys in his bed), and running around. He would enjoy an active person of family who can give him the exercise he needs to be happy.
