All cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped and vaccinated.

Adoption steps
- Submit Application
- Our application can be found online on our website and submitted electronically.
- Interview
- An adoption volunteer will conduct a phone interview with you.
- Approve Application
- The adoptions volunteer will approve/decline the application.
- Visit the Facility and Find a Pet
- Visit our website to see our cats. Email adopt@furryfriendsbarrie.com with your choice. A zoom meeting will be held to "meet" the cat
- Meet the Pet
- An appointment will be scheduled at the Pet Smart on Mapleview to meet and finalize the adoption.
- Sign Adoption Contract
- The contract will be completed, adoption fee paid and then the cat can go to his/her new forever home!
