Astro is a lovable DSH brown tabby male born approximately 5/20/2025. Astro and his foster sister, Stella, were rescued from being homeless as a young kitten. Thankfully a good Samaritan rescued him and asked NBCR for help in finding him the perfect home. They are a bonded pair, so would prefer a fur-ever home where they can stay together if possible.
Astro has certainly made up for all of those missing meals prior to being rescued as he is almost twice the size of Stella. He will likely be a big boy which makes giving him hugs and kisses all the better. Astro is fairly laid back and outgoing but does love to play. With his big personality and endless energy, he will keep you laughing and entertained. He loves to eat, play with wand toys, nap in the sun, and chase his sister Stella around the room. He also enjoys fetching toys but sometimes his sister beats him to return them to their foster. He has been trained to use a corrugated cat scratcher. Astro is microchipped and his adoption fee is $105.

Adopters must be 21 years or older and willing to invest the time and money required to care for a pet. In addition to providing love and attention, regular medical care is required. Please ask if you would like more information about veterinary fees and costs.

Although the animal has been in a protected environment, there is the possibility of unrecognized illness appearing after an adoption is finalized, especially because of the stress the animal may experience during the first few days at its new home. We advise adopters of the animal's known history and provide its veterinary records, but frequently we know only what the animal chooses to tell us. We cannot make any guarantee regarding the long-term health of any animal. Adoption fees are generally not refundable unless prior arrangements are made.
