My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Casper is a spunky happy guy with a lot of personality. With just the right amount of chihuahua spice, Casper would be a great companion for any person who knows and loves this feisty little breed. Casper has lived with other dogs in the past, and may do well with another dog of similar size to him.

If you are interested in applying for Casper, please fill out an adoption application! The application can be found on our website:

Additional adoption info

Matchmaking is what we love to do. We do our very best to find the best fit for the pets awaiting adoption at the Rhode Island SPCA. The first step to adopting a dog from the Rhode Island SPCA is filling out an adoption application. If your application is selected, you will be contacted and asked if you would like to schedule a meet & greet. Because of the volume of applications we receive, sometimes we can only respond to the selected applicant. You are always welcome to contact us anytime about the status of your application at adoption@rispca.com.
