My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bubba Smalls is a friendly puppy that’s never met anyone he didn’t like. He loves everyone! This includes other dogs, children, and even small exotics.

Born January 2025, his breed is a total mystery. We do know his mom is a husky, which might be why he has different colored eyes - one blue and the other hazel. He’s 17 pounds and has the body of a Corgi, long body and short legs.

Bubba Smalls is sharp. He rides in cars well. He’s house trained, knows how to sit, and great walking on leash - he likes going on walks. Next up, he’s working on “stay,” “leave it,” and hand signals (his foster mom is hearing impaired). He loves toys and treats and has no special dietary needs.

His foster describes him perfectly: “Bubba has never met a stranger. He loves everyone.” If you’re looking for a dog who radiates sunshine and will be your instant best friend, Bubba Smalls is the one for you!

Adoption fee is: $300

ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com

Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee.

Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.

More about this rescue

CAMO Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers life, health, and a forever home. We specialize in dogs that other rescues can’t or won’t take due to fearful nature or medical needs. We primarily rescue ‘euthanasia listed’ animals that are in immediate danger of death. We provide shots, spay/neuter, microchip, foster homes, food, medical treatment and love to dogs that are abandoned, unwanted or otherwise in need. We never euthanize an animal to make room for another. In addition to caring for our dogs and finding the best possible home for them, we provide education to the community; encouraging and promoting responsible pet ownership. If needed, our rescue dogs are retrained to socialize in an adoptive loving family. We have had phenomenal success, and amazing support from our community. We believe that animals, as living creatures are entitled to a quality life, respect and compassion. Since humans have domesticated animals, we have a moral and ethical responsibility to care for them. We are partnered with many Shelters to help them reach the same goal.
