Meet CowTwin2 (CT2). This pretty lady's past is a bit of mystery, but we are determined to make her future bright.
CT2 was part of a feral cat colony found in a shopping center parking lot. She spent about a year there, relying on the generousity of the woman who adopted the colony, slowly began earning their trust, and made it her goal to get cozy with CT2 and her makeshift family. Eventually, CT2 was caught and moved into a backyard where her rehabilitation began. It was quickly apparent that this kitty was not made for outdoor life - not only is her temperament shy and gentle, and her fur long and luxurious, but she has an allergy to mosquitos! She definitely deserves better than being out in the elements! After being given some time to become even more comfortable, she was moved inside the house to begin Phase II of her rehabilitation. Since then, she has become quite the avid snuggler, especially if you have a nice fluffy blanket on your lap to give her prime biscuit-making material. She is a social eater and much prefers to have her human around for meals, giving her safety through a steady presence. She has also become quite chatty and will carry on a full conversation, whether you are in the room with her or not! She can often be heard just contently talking to herself. Who knows what she is saying, but it's probably pretty juicy given everything this girl has seen in her short life.
We estimate that she is around two years old. Her transition to indoor kitty has been quite smooth as she finds new places daily where she likes to curl up and nap. She may be a little apprehensive at first as she gets to know you, but her love for food makes her easy to win over with some treats.
She will need a quiet home that she can settle into and continue to build her confidence. Once you are her person, there will be non-stop cuddles, endless conversations, and lots and lots of cat hair! She adored the cats from her colony, so we anticipate that she will probably do fine with a cat companion. A slow, calm introduction would be recommended.
If you have room in your heart for a sweet, tender girl who deserves a warm lap and plenty of love, this may be your leading lady.
