My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*** Winkie is at Cat & Craft in Vista. ***

Winkie #19872: black/orange/white calico, short hair, spayed female, born approx. 7/10/20

Cats: gets along
Dogs: nope!
Children: adults only (18+)

BACKGROUND: Winkie is a gorgeous calico and a true survivor. She was living outside with three other cats when neighbors began mistreating them. During that time, she was attacked by a dog and shaken, which left her with a permanent head tilt. Thankfully, a kindhearted person stepped in and got her the help she needed. Today, Winkie is safe, loved, and ready for a forever home where she can finally be cherished.

PERSONALITY: Winkie’s little head tilt isn’t a limitation — it’s her signature quirk that makes her irresistibly adorable! Along with her tilted perspective on life, she sometimes has a runny eye or a little sneeze, but the vet assures us she’s a healthy girl. Winkie is playful and sweet, enjoying wand toys, little mice, and cloth balls. She has a diva streak when it comes to food — she’s a grazer who prefers to snack throughout the day, and she’s not shy about changing her mind on what’s “in” or “out” on her menu. Churus, Churu Bisque, and Party Mix are always a win, though! She adores neck and chin scratches, and while she’s not a full-on lap cat yet, she often puts her paws on your lap as if she’s thinking about moving in!

COMPATIBILITY: Winkie has lived peacefully with other cats and would likely enjoy a feline friend. Dogs, however, are not for her. Because of her past, she’d do best in a calmer home without young children, though she’ll thrive with patient, gentle people who let her quirks shine.

With her tilted head and cuter-angle view on life, could this resilient calico be your purrfect match?
