Baxter is an eight-month-old puppy with a big personality and an even bigger fan club. He’s about 30+ pounds, very people-oriented, and was selected to play in the 2026 Puppy Bowl, which suits him perfectly. He’s playful, affectionate, and full of that easygoing, happy energy that makes him fun to be around.
He enjoys playtime, loves his treats, and is picking up leash manners and basic commands quickly. Baxter can be a little shy when he first meets someone, but he warms up fast and is soon ready to cuddle. He does well with dogs, cats, and kids, so he’s a good fit for many different types of homes.
Baxter was rescued from the streets of Puerto Rico along with his siblings Maverick, Cash, and Stormi. In spite of his rough start, he’s a bright, friendly puppy with a striking blue eye and a very affectionate nature. He would do especially well in a home with another friendly dog to play with and learn from.
For a family looking for a sweet, playful young dog who can keep up with an active life and then settle in for snuggles, Baxter has a lot to offer. He is ready for a home where he can grow up, be part of the family, and enjoy many more adventures.
