Meet Batman! Batman and his brother PeeWee came into the shelter August 28th as surrenders. These 15-year-old guys were surrendered, no fault of their own, their mom had to move and couldn’t take them with her. We are trying to find a foster, foster to adopt or full adoption for these guys together preferably but not a must. They do seem to enjoy the company and reassurance of each other though. Batman is a little stand offish with new people but, once you have this little guy in your arms, he is happy as a clam. Batman is not neutered and we are ok with letting him go “as is” at this stage in his life, anesthesia is risky for older dogs. He is missing all but one of his teeth. This doesn’t stop him from enjoying his meals, he is a great eater! He has picked up on a routine quickly here at the shelter so no doubt he would with you too. We sure would like to see Batman in a home as soon as possible. The shelter is hard on older dogs and this guy really deserves a nice comfy place to relax, nap and live out whatever time he may have left. Come meet Batman today at the Alpine Animal Services Shelter, 2900 Old Marathon Hwy Alpine, TX 79830.
