Meet Nuggie/ Willy (One-Eyed Willy)
Willy is a sweetheart, easy going, loving nugget, hence his nickname. Brave, curious and fearless despite his rough start in life. He is a 3 month old domestic shorthair kitten. He was adopted from Humane Society at 2 months old. His pirate look comes after an eye enucleation, but that will not stop him from venturing everywhere.
Unfortunately, he tested positive for FeLV (feline leukemia) which is a retrovirus. The good news is that he has the regressive form of the virus and he's less likely to develop FeLV related disease and he's got a good chance of living a normal life span. He needs to be tested again in about 6 months because of his very young age.
Willy is litter trained (self taught resident genius). Loves all food, quite food motivated and no special diets.
He must be adopted into a house with cats that have the same condition as him or as an only kitty child. Must be an indoor baby because of his risk of infecting healthy cats and we want him safe at all times and spoiled rotten.
He does great with dogs and would love to be adopted into a home with a dog or 2 that will be his pal!
