Meet Sugar: Your Sweet New Companion
Hello there! My name is Sugar, and I'm excited to introduce myself as your potential new furry friend. Allow me to share a bit about my journey and why I might just be the perfect addition to your home.
My Background
Despite my small size, weighing in at about nine pounds, I've been through quite an adventure in my three to four years of life. I was rescued from a difficult hoarding situation by the wonderful folks at Barking Mad Animal Rescue. Being in that big old house with so many other dogs was pretty overwhelming, and as a result, I can be a little shy at times.
Health and Care
Thanks to Barking Mad Animal Rescue, I've received top-notch care. They've ensured that I'm up to date with all my vaccinations, and I've been microchipped for safety. I'm happy to report that I'm heartworm negative and have been spayed. With all this attention, I'm feeling healthy and ready to find my forever home.
My Personality
I'm a friendly pup, though my past experiences have made me a bit skittish and cautious. I get along well with other dogs and enjoy playing with them. However, small children can be a little intimidating for me, so I think I'd thrive in a home without them.
I'm highly treat-motivated, which can be a great way to build trust and bond with me. Once I feel comfortable, you'll find that I'm a loving and sweet companion.
Ready for Adoption
Now that I'm all fixed up and well cared for, I'm eagerly waiting for a new home where I can feel safe and loved. If you're looking for a gentle and loyal friend who will appreciate a bit of patience and understanding, I might be the perfect match for you.
Thank you for considering me, Sugar, as part of your family. I promise to bring sweetness and joy into your life!
