My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pep, Pep, Pepperoni! Hey guys, I'm Princess Pepperoni! I am a spunky girl. Though not totally visible, I am a dilute torbie. What does that mean? I am a grey tabby mixed with a tortie. Throughout my fur you can see some tan patches. This makes me a special girl. Why? Because I am a mixture of sweet and sassy. I love to play and wrestle with my siblings. My favorite toy are spring toys. I love to hit them and chase them everywhere. Not that long ago I was living outside fighting to survive. My poor momma had us in a lady's yard. When discovered this really nice lady called my foster momma concerned for our lives. She has predatory birds that would love to have us as a snack. She came out immediately and trapped us and took us to her house. We were placed in a comfy bed where we got warm. Our momma was not always the best momma so our foster mom had to sometimes bathe us and bottle feed us. Thats ok because I grew up big and strong. I would like to be adopted out with my brother Admiral Bacon. We play so well and lay together. Could go in a home with another young cat. We have never been around dogs or kids so we will have to see if we like them when we start coming to adoption events. If you are interested in us please email contact@stlpetrescue.comWe only adopt to people in the St. Louis METRO area. More about this rescue

St. Louis Pet Rescue is a non-profit rescue group focusing on saving pets from local animal control facilities and other neglect situations.

We do not have a facility. All of the pets we rescue are in loving foster homes. Foster homes provide love, care training, and, if needed, rehabilitation to the pets. This also allows the pet to be more adjusted when they enter their forever home since they are used to a home environment (versus a kennel at the pound).
