My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tygra:
If you feel tiny paws at your heels or notice a fluffy shadow everywhere you go—congratulations, you’ve just been chosen. While her siblings are busy reenacting WrestleMania, Tygra is auditioning for the role of “personal assistant who never leaves your side.” She’s a little social butterfly, shamelessly soaking up all the attention, and firmly believes that whatever you’re doing—laundry, dishes, bathroom break—it’s clearly better with her supervising. Basically, if you’ve ever dreamed of being adored 24/7 by a fuzzy entourage, Tygra’s your girl.

Tygra is part of our Thundercats litter—currently about 6 weeks old and tipping the scales at a whopping 5 pounds of pure Velcro fluff. She and her siblings came to us when they were barely a week old, after their owner could no longer care for Mama Kotten and the pups due to health issues. Mama Kotten arrived in rough shape herself, but like the superhero she is, she bounced back and has been nothing short of amazing raising this crew of tiny fuzzballs.

Tygra has been around dogs, cats, and kids—and let’s just say she considers them all part of her fan club. Other dogs? Great, as long as they understand she’s the one calling shotgun in the cuddle department. Cats? Fascinating little side characters in her ongoing soap opera, occasionally worthy of a sniff. Kids? Snack-dropping, attention-giving, built-in playmates who clearly exist for her entertainment. Basically, she’s had the full socialization starter pack and has decided everyone she meets is just another loyal subject in her kingdom of fluff.

Tygra clocks in at about a 6 or 7 on the energy scale—enough to keep you busy, but not so much that you’ll need a personal trainer to survive her puppy phase. She’s the one who will always be glued to your side like a fluffy little stalker, making sure you never again know the peace of going to the bathroom alone. Social butterfly? Absolutely. If there’s attention to be had, she’s first in line and waving her tail like a neon sign that says “Pet me.” She roughhouses with the boys like she’s auditioning for WWE: Puppy Edition, then turns around and cuddles with the girls like she’s the poster child for sisterhood. She’s smart, already figuring out that potty happens outside (miracles do exist), and she has no problem voicing her opinions when necessary—because heaven forbid her needs be ignored. Oh, and she doesn’t mind being carried around like the spoiled baby she fully believes she is. Basically, she’s equal parts sass, sweetness, and shadow—you’ll never be alone again, whether you like it or not.

Tygra may already think she’s got life figured out, but spoiler alert—her new adopters are still going to have some homework. She’ll need socializing so she doesn’t turn into a house hermit that hates change, potty training so she remembers that carpets aren’t her personal patch of grass, and leash training so walks don’t feel like you’re tethered to a caffeinated squirrel. And yes, puppy-proofing is required, because Tygra has the curiosity of a toddler with opposable thumbs—if it dangles, wiggles, or looks remotely interesting, she’s going to investigate. The good news? She’s smart, cuddly, and outrageously people-oriented, so teaching her is less of a chore and more like raising your favorite sidekick. Put in the work now, and you’ll have a loyal little shadow who not only follows you everywhere but also makes you look way cooler than you actually are.

So here’s the scoop on Tygra. She’s the definition of “built-in best friend,” and she’ll happily follow you from room to room just to make sure you don’t get lost in your own house. But—and it’s a big but—you can’t just comment “dibs” and expect her to show up on your doorstep like an Amazon package. Nope. You’ve got to fill out an adoption application at https://www.pyrpawsandfluffytailsrescue.com/adoption-app, and once you’re approved, we’ll pass it along to her foster family. Then, and only then, can you plan your road trip to Claremore, OK to scoop up this little Velcro fluff. One small caveat: Tygra isn’t ready to head home until the beginning of October. Consider it her diva moment—making her fans wait for the official “grand release” of Tygra: The Cuddle Chronicles. Good things take time, and trust us, she’s worth the wait.
