PLEASE READ HIS WHOLE BIO, TO SEE IF YOUR HOME IS A GOOD FIT FOR HIS NEEDS, BEFORE SUBMITTING AN APP.
Jax is a sweet 14-week-old white kitten who has already been neutered, vaccinated (age appropriate), and treated for parasites.
He was rescued a little later than most kittens we tame down from growing up wild , but thanks to lots of patience, intense one on one time and love from Linda, he has come such a long way! Jax may be a little shy at first with a new environment, but with a gentle, patient approach he blossoms into a loving companion. He would do well starting out in a small space in his new home until he feels secure and then eventually transitioning into more living spaces.
Jax would thrive in a calm, stable indoor-only home with plenty of toys, scratchers, and positive stimulation. Because he grew up with a group of 8 kittens, he will need another young cat friend to keep him company and be his best buddy. We do have a ton of other kittens that are ready for adoption, so he could be adopted with one of them
He hasn’t been around dogs, so a home without them may be best.
Adoption fee: $100

At TNR North Platte, NE, our mission is to reduce the number of homeless cats through the practice of Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). By facilitating spay and neuter services, we not only prevent overpopulation but also ensure that these cats receive proper medical attention. At the time of spay/neuter, we arrange for wellness checks, rabies vaccinations, parasite treatments, and address other health concerns. For those cats without caretakers, we provide colony care—ensuring they have access to daily food, water and ongoing medical care.
Beyond direct care, we are committed to educating the community about the benefits of spaying and neutering, as well as how to compassionately support community cats. Our efforts also include socializing kittens and evaluating stray cats for placement in foster homes or permanent adoption.
Through partnerships with other cat rescue organization's, animal advocates, and volunteers, we are creating a community where every cat has the opportunity to thrive. Join us in making a difference for North Platte’s community cats—one spay and neuter at a time.
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, focused on caring for feral community cats in Nebraska.
