Me & my littermates (6 total) were born to a cat rescued during our February snowstorm. We were fostered there with mom till about 6 weeks, and since @ Texarkana Animal League. We are all very social. Love attention and getting & giving love. And we're very playful! I am neutered, have a microchip, and all my 1st year vaccines have been given. I had FIP which is usually a death sentence in cats but I had an experimental treatment that took months and months and now I'm cured and a healthy and happy adult cat!!!I am now finally available for adoption to the perfect home because I am very special to all of the volunteers who took care of me all the time, I was sick and all the time I was getting better and now that I'm well and such a loving cat!

All of our adoptable animals are up to date on routine vaccinations, microchipped and spayed or neutered. If the animal is too young a certificate for the spay/neuter is included in the adoption fee. Please CLICK HERE to complete our online adoption application.

Potential adopters can fill out our adoption application through our website. Approved adopters are required to sign an adoption contract.

All animals are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and microchipped.

More about this rescue

Texarkana Animal League (TAL) is a group of volunteers that is dedicated to improving the welfare of animals in our shelter & community. We operate out of a facility where both cats and dogs are sheltered until they find their forever home. Some of our animals are also in foster homes.

Our mission is to provide protection and care for abandoned, abused, neglected and unwanted companion animals. We also want to promote animal welfare through programs and services that mutually benefit animals and people.

All proceeds benefit animal care and adoptions, and assist with our community outreach programs such as a low-income spay/neuter assistance program (SNAP), as well as educational and service projects to assist TAL's belief that all animals are deserving of life, respect and care.

In 2017, we altered almost 300 animals in the community with our SNAP Program.
