If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Spike is an 11 years old and a mix of Pomeranian, Greyhound, and Chihuahua. He weighs about 14 lbs and does not really get any bigger than that. He has a weak thyroid that has been managed with meds (morning and night) for over 4 years now-no issues with daily life, and he is still active and doing great. We get his thyroid checked once a year, medication cost approximately $25. He is neutered, up-to-date on all his shots, super friendly, and great with both kids and adults. He loves walks, playing outside, and while he is pretty independent, he also enjoys cuddling. Spike is being rehome due to changes in household (i.e., new baby and other sister moved to the East Coast).
