Interview
Hi there! Are you and your cat(s) looking for a companion who likes to chat (‘meep, mep, meep’), watch birds, play with toys, and chasing the laser? Can’t forget about playing with his foster friends! Bart even enjoys assisting his foster mom while she works from home and joining zoom calls. After a long day of work and play, when tired, he’ll bury himself under the blankets for quiet time. I’d like to introduce you to Bart. This handsome guy’s favorite place is perched on a shoulder, and you might even notice a bit of heavy breathing in your ear. Bart had a rough start when rescued. He was treated for a chest infection, but after that cleared up, it was noted that his breathing didn't appear normal. Thinking it might be heart related, ACDC arranged for a consultation with a cardiologist for our boy, Bart, right away. It was determined that Bart doesn’t have any heart problems, and was cleared for his unique breathing (he does a little beat box when he gets excited). However, Bart’s medical adventures weren't over, he developed an eye condition resulting from low to no tear production. Bart has seen a veterinary ophthalmologist to treat his eyes and soldiered through multiple medication trials and found a plan that is working well to keep his eyes pain free! Bart requires over the counter daily supplements to keep his pretty gold eyes bright. He now gladly trades hugs and some chit chat with his foster mom to get his medicine. Bart is a super sweet guy who is different in the best way and deserves a furrever owner that will appreciate him.
An adopter with history of annual documented feline veterinary care is required.
Bart is up to date on vaccines, neutered, microchipped, dewormed and tested negative for FELV/FIV/HW.
