Meet Lucille the sweetest Cattle Dog Mix with the most adorable ear that sticks out sideways — it’s impossible not to fall in love! She loves to explore the play yard and seems to know some basic commands, making her a smart cookie that has amazing potential!

She does well with other dogs and has been in playgroups here at the rescue!

She is ready to be adopted today! And trust us, once you meet her, you won’t want to let her go. Can you open your home to Lucille? She’s ready to steal your heart.

All of our dogs are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped and spayed or neutered.

We require all adopters to complete an application and pay an adoption fee. Adoption fees vary, but are usually $160 to $185. We may do a vet reference check and/or home visit.

It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.
