Are you looking for a cat with a bit of sass? Do you enjoy having a kitty companion who will want to be kept engaged and entertained by play and stimulation? Meet Indiana! She was not shown a lot of love before coming to us and initially she was quite unhappy in Cat Land. We are happy to report that she has worked through her feels and is a completely different cat! She is living in a community room with other cats and greets volunteers and visitors. She wants love and affection - and makes the best biscuits. High energy homes or small children will most likely stress her out. She needs to find people who will understand her and continue to support her journey towards finally feeling loved and comfortable.

Adopting an animal is an exciting and important step for you and your family! Here is a brief outline of what to expect.
1. Come to our shelter and visit with the animals... come as many times as you like... you'll know when you've met "the one!"
2. Meet with an adoption counselor who will work with you to see if the animal you want can fit into your lifestyle, preferences, desires and expectations or if another would be a better match!
3. Complete the adoption paperwork and counseling session (this may take up to 45 minutes, so please be prepared to spend this time with an Adoption Counselor). You may also complete the adoption application online prior to coming to the shelter! Please note the application is an expression of interest and does guarantee animal placement.
