Meet Lyra — our stunning little “tabbico” (calico + tabby mix) with glowing amber eyes and fur as soft as a cloud.
Lyra was discovered alone at one of our TNR colony locations, and we’ll never know how such a tiny, beautiful kitten ended up there. Clever and resourceful, she outsmarted several trapping attempts before we finally brought her to safety. But the moment she was in our arms, it was clear she wasn’t meant for street life; Lyra immediately began to purr and melt into affection.
At first, Lyra can be shy (her survival instincts kept her alive) but once she feels safe, she transforms into a gentle, purring bundle of love. Pick her up and she’ll start her little motor instantly, kneading biscuits with pure happiness. She adores soft blankets, cozy nap spots, and is mesmerized by every kind of toy. She eagerly follows the other kittens, learning how to play, and comes hopping with excitement at mealtime (especially for wet food and treats!).
Lyra is deeply grateful to have been rescued and shows it every day with her affection, her purrs, and her sweet, gentle ways. She’s ready to leave her survival days behind and start a new life full of love, comfort, and companionship. Whoever adopts Lyra will be gaining not just a kitten, but a loyal little soul who will treasure her forever home.

Lyra is estimated to be ~2.5 mo old as of Aug 2025, fully vetted: spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed, and microchipped. She tested negative for FIV and FeLV.
