My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Do you enjoy a challenge?  This boy is very funny.  He must have learned in his pre-trapping indoor life that he should not come right up to people, but honestly, all it takes to undo this programming is a treat.  A dry treat, a squeeze up treat (his favorite!!), a spoon treat. . . this kitten is VERY food motivated.  When he first came in, he would begin hissing at the treats, then grudgingly eating them.  He couldn't help himself!  Now he's learning to be petted while eating his treats.  We have seen this before, where a cat much older and set in his ways learned the joys of petting because he couldn't resist the food, and he became a totally well socialized cat!  Apply today and see how you feel about this adorable, funny, lovable little boy.  He is still young and very malleable!

Update on this baby's socialization--he knows the people who give him treats and love, and he meows to demand that they approach!!  He will rub and rub himself on the door waiting for his treat and pets.  We are still working on getting to a place where he *never* swats, but it's very easy to see when he is going to swat and when he's going to lean hard into petting, and the key is always treats.  Some noises startle him, such as the air purifier turning on, and it's hard for a cat to always know what to expect in a busy rescue setting.  He would come around well in a home!

Thank you for your interest in a CATsNAP cat or kitten!

If you would like to meet a cat, please complete the online application located on our website catsnap.org.

We do not have a walk-in facility; most of our cats are in foster homes.  For this reason, we require an approved application on file before we set up a meet and greet.

Completing an online application does not obligate you to adopt! We care deeply about our cats and want the best match for all involved.

All CATsNAP cats and kittens are:
  • Vaccination against Panleukopenia (Distemper), Rhinotracheitis, and Calicivirus
