Chrissy is a very sweet girl who has spent her life chained up in "tent city" Dallas, but surrendered to our rescue a few months ago, right before giving birth to 12 puppies!
Her puppies are now weaned and Chrissy is now spayed.
She is SUPER sweet and snuggly, loves to play and chase squirrels, enjoys napping on the couch with her person and running in the backyard.
Chrissy is a "people person" and gets very attached, quickly.
She is house broken, crate trained and does fine on a leash.
Chrissy is currently on the "slow kill" treatment for heartworms.

Once the initial process has been complete, we verify vet references, conduct a home visit, and if approved, move forward with finalizing the pet adoption.

Salvaged Souls Pet Rescue is based out of Texas, though we have expanded/transitioning to Colorado!
We are a registered 501c3, saving dogs from not only local (DFW) shelters, but also South Texas, Houston, San Antonio, Utah, and many other distant shelters.
We are also frequently asked to take owner surrenders, strays, abused and abandoned dogs, so we are happy to step up, as long as a local foster is willing to house a particular pet.
If we can make even a small difference in animal welfare, we are serving our purpose.
