My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This handsome young fella is quite the love bug! He is so sweet and loving, but also does seem to very much like the companionship of other animals and want to be around them. He needs a home with a loving owner or family to give him the cuddles he craves, with other kitty-friendly pets to give him the animal friendship he seeks out. His bestie at the moment is a young boxer mix pup who loves playing with kitties; he seems to hang out around other cats but not necessarily engage in play or cuddles with them. Sometimes loud noises and sudden movements scare him but give him a little time and he adjusts well.

More about this rescue

We have created a non-profit animal shelter dedicated to eliminating cruelty, abuse and the overpopulation of animals. The Humane Society is committed to creating the awareness of animal rights throughout the Romeoville community by providing numerous animal welfare programs, including pet adoptions, humane education and cruelty investigations. ALL animals available for adoption are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, fecal tested, fiv/felv tested (cats only), heartworm tested (dogs only) and microchipped. It is the policy of the Romeoville Humane Society to spay or neuter all animals in its care in an effort to reduce the homeless pet population.
