Meet Kitty – Our Long-Legged Supermodel Pup
Striking, smart, and full of personality—4-year-old Kitty turns heads wherever she goes. With her stunning dark brindle coat, long legs, and spunky spirit, this Plott Hound/Shepherd mix has all the makings of a superstar. At 71 pounds, she’s a big, bold girl who knows what she wants—and she’s looking for the right person to love her for it.

Kitty Would Love a Home With: - Adults only—she’s best suited for a household without young kids - A family ready to give her structure, patience, and lots of exercise - A yard or plenty of walks where she can stretch those long legs and show off her strut
Kitty is equal parts beauty and brains, with a big personality to match. She’ll thrive with someone who appreciates her spunk, gives her the consistency she needs, and loves her fiercely. Once she bonds with you, she’ll be loyal for life—and every bit as dazzling as she looks.

Condensed Staff Assessment Notes: Kitty is a powerful and energetic dog who showed her displeasure through demand barking and body-slamming. She preferred exploring outside to being inside the shelter. During our walk, she started with a looser leash but ended up pulling strongly. It took time for her to settle inside for handling, where she tolerated it but showed sensitivity around her tail and legs, indicating a need for space.
She understands cues like `sit,` `down,` and `come,` and responded well to redirection. However, she was
