My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mo: The Adorable Chiweenie Looking for a Forever Home
Hello there! My name is Mo, and I'm a charming two-year-old, seven-pound Chiweenie with a heart full of love to offer. Although I've faced some tough times recently, I'm hopeful that my perfect forever family is out there, ready to welcome me into their lives.
A Little About Me
I may be small, but I have a big personality! I'm known for being a very good boy, and I get along well with other dogs. I can even be okay with cats, so if you have a feline friend, we might just become best pals. While I enjoy playing with older children, little kids can be a bit scary for me, and I might nip if I'm frightened. So, it's best if my new home doesn't have any young children.
My Skills and Preferences
House Trained: I'm almost house trained, so with a little patience, I'll fit right into your routine.
Leash and Car Rides: Walking on a leash is something I'm getting used to, and I can ride in a car without any fuss.
Likes and Dislikes: I have a fondness for treats and toys, which always make for a fun time!
Health and Safety
I'm in great health, and my vaccinations are all up to date. I've been microchipped, neutered, and I've even received the ProHeart 12 shot, which protects me from heartworms for 12 months. I'm happy to report that I'm heartworm negative!
Adoption Information
I'm currently staying at Barking Mad Animal Rescue, eagerly waiting to meet my new family. If you think I might be the perfect addition to your home, please fill out the adoption application. I'd love to meet you and show you how much joy I can bring into your life!
Thank you for considering me. I promise to be a loyal and loving companion, ready to create wonderful memories together.

More about this rescue

BMAR is a No-Kill facility: a place of safety for healthy adoptable animals, a home for the homeless, a haven for the mistreated, neglected, or abused animals of Sabine & surrounding counties. BMAR also runs a sanctuary for those deemed unadoptible due to medical and behavior issues.

100% Volunteer Rescue. We have no animal control, Humane Society, or SPCA operating in our area leaving animals in dire straights.

BMAR is dedicated to the prevention of cruelty & abuse to all animals & livestock.

We currently only adopt to states and Canada where we have a network in place to monitor animals and help with problems.

BMAR backs it's dogs for life and will take back no matter how long and at any time if circumstance arise and you cannot keep your pet.
