Daisy is a sweet and gentle girl, estimated to be around 2.5 years old. She came into our care as her owner’s living situation was changing and wasn't able to keep Daisy. She has been a well-loved girl, so she's ready to become a cherished family member in her new forever home!
Daisy's previous owner said she is a mix of Greyhound and Pitbull Terrier - and we have found her to have wonderful manners on the leash and she truly adores human interaction. Daisy is a calm and affectionate companion who will happily enjoy quality time with her people.
She has previously lived with kids, and with two other dogs, so it is possible that she may enjoy having a compatible canine companion in her new home. However she may also prefer to be the only dog in the home because while living at the shelter we have seen her ability in making new dogs friends start to dwindle. This setting has made Daisy start to struggle when meeting new dogs. She seems to perhaps prefer male dogs over females, and she currently has a best friend Nelson. If an interested adopter has other dogs at home, a meet & greet would take place before adoption to ensure compatibility of both dogs.
This special girl is just looking for a family to shower her with the love and care she deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal, well-mannered, and sweet-natured friend, please complete an adoption application for Daisy. This application can be found on our website at www.wesavepets.com.
