BRODY was found trying his best to survive by eating the leftovers of feral cats being fed outside. He was thin, always starving and scared.
The most tragic part, however... was Brody's leg was broken. He endured with no medical care as the bone fused itself together. It healed badly, causing an infection as the bone rubbed through his skin.
Thanks to Pound Pals Downriver, a nonprofit group dedicated to treating shelter animals, Brody finally got the relief he needed.
We quickly learned he is an absolute angel. Loves nothing more than affection, except maybe trusting without a doubt he'll always have enough food to eat.
Brody is also living with FIV, a viral autoimmune disease. Despite the blows that just kept coming for Brody, he remains such a sweet animal. He loves everyone.
