My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to Novak.  He came to ARC with one other pup from Broward County.  He was on limited time and was a 'rescue/adopt' only with a fast-approaching deadline when ARC rescued him.  This handsome guy has proven to be such an amazing companion.  He is playful, loves water, and enjoys showing off his catching skills with treats tossed to him.  Novak has so much love to give and he is hoping his family will rescue him soon.

More about this rescue

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
