My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

It’s usually not good when someone says “I have notes…”, but we have Notes in a good way!! And while someone having notes to give usually implies that there’s some criticism to follow, the only notes we have on Notes are positive ones!! Here’s what some of his volunteer friends have said about this sweet, sensitive boy:

“I walked Notes for the first time today. When I first entered his kennel he was shy; he took treats gently and after I leashed him, he knew we were going out and became more confident. Once outside and a few minutes into our walk he was a different dog. Happy and alert with his tail wagging, mouth open and trotting right along. He was a very good walker and did not pull. He is a quiet, sensitive boy. Notes might initially be shy with new people but his personality blooms once he becomes comfortable and feels secure.”

“Notes is a hidden gem. He’s still a little shy and quiet after a few months in the shelter but if you give him time to warm up and approach on his own terms, his coat is so soft and he enjoys getting pets. Notes is a good walker- he does get startled by loud noises
and quick movements so we try to keep things calm and steady.”

“Notes was easy to lash and easy to walk. After a little while in the yard there where some bits of gentle play with his kennel mate. Notes knows sit, takes treats gently and is affectionate. Very good boy!”

Notes shares his kennel politely and has been social and tolerant when meeting other dogs in playgroup. He’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home and would likely benefit from having a furry friend to show him the ropes and help him settle in. Ask to meet Notes today!!
